Borough Market
Granted this trip into Borough market was to short for my taste, especially after all the build up my friends gave it, but the quick bite I got before my Architecture class at the Shard (picture above) was certainly a reason to go back. Eve and I hunted through the tents and fell upon a goat meat tent called Gourmet Goat. They took the soft goat meat and made it a kabob with the perfect grilled taste and put this on a pita with a delicious cucumber yogurt sauce. There was a spicy, mint and cilantro herb sauce that gave the mix of flavors the right pop and they finished it with a squirt of fresh lemon juice. It so gosh darn (going for a PG site) good. I wanted to finish the whole thing, but I just couldn’t so one of my classmates took pleasure in finishing it for me. Can’t wait to get back there soon and try some other bites.
