A Staple "Food" For All

I wouldn’t call this food, per say, granted it has been my dinner some nights, but beer is a lifestyle here in London. Like the cronut, people line up or, queue as they say here, for hours to get into the great bars and pubs all around the city to celebrate the art of beer. They have Hoegaarden, Carlsberg, London P ride, Strongbow and even some Guinness from their Irish friends (going to the factory has made me a Guinness snob.)

This drink not only provides a fun night for all, but has also been a political running technique for Nigel Farage, the British politician and leader of the UK Independence “laid back,” “one with the people” personality. This ‘food’ group has made it into the political race this coming election, and the image of Farage holding up a beer is splashed around the city.

In the pictures you can see Eve, Emily, Sabrina and I celebrating, this was after our British art history class when we accidentally ran into what was a parade and saw the queen. I included that picture as well. It was basically life changing.
