Pimp My Ramen

This semester I am taking a drawing architecture class. Last saturday our teacher took us on a weekend class in Greenwich, which is a quick trip outside of London. Although we spent most of the day shivering while following around my teacher, after 5 hours he finally gave us a lunch break and we all bolted to the food market. As a foodie I follow a lot of food bogs on instagram and I had seen the beast of a ramen burger once, but had never expected to try one. It may be from my lack of protein intake that made it so good, but I fell in love. The bun was made from ramen noodle which were then grilled and placed around a perfectly cooked beef burger (pork/chicken/veggies were also options) and on top was placed the perfect over-easy egg. It also featured a crisp piece of lettuce and a spicy ketchup that was to die for. The rest of Greenwich was gorgeous, some of the oldest and best preserved buildings still exists, and unlike most of London, they weren't burnt down by the great fire of 1666. Enjoy drooling from this tantalizingly perfect work of art (the burger that is), and of course, like always, it was 100% calorie free.

Hot Brandy Apple Cider

To get through the rest of the brutally cold 7 hour weekend class we finished off our food tour with some cups of hot brandy apple cider which made the last 3 hours more bearable, and i'm sure helped my terrible abilities to draw.

Greenwich

Greenwich is a part of South East London and is about a 30 min boat ride down the River Thames. It bacilli the site of a real palace, in the 15th century and was the birth place to many Tudors (the royal family of the time.) The buildings were then turned into the Royal Naval College in 1873 and have some gorgeous architecture to look at. We spent the day roaming around the different buildings and ended up in the Queens House, where we sat for two hours drawing the interior of a room. I thought you would all enjoy to get a good laugh at my pitiful drawing abilities below.
