A Brief History
I was born into a family that has cooking coursing through its veins. With no training but simply years of trial and error, my parents had both found their place in the kitchen. As an only child, I watched and learned as they both filled the kitchen with appetizers, entrées, laughter and endless chatter. My only option was to learn to bake if I wanted my own voice in the kitchen. Within two years I fell in love with the science of sweets.
When I ventured off to NYU and into a kitchen of my own, I branched out to the malleable not so scientific world of cooking and added my own flair to everything I’d seen and learned from my parents. I spend many nights in my small NYC kitchen inventing new recipe ideas and hunting down friends to test them on. Over the years, there are two things my friends and family have come to learn:
I always have new recipes and ideas to try.
And if we’ve made any plans to see each other, you better come with an appetite.
Savorsome is a place for all foodies looking for new recipes, restaurant reviews, and for anyone wanting to explore my passion for cooking.
